Waking Dream (working title) is a series of short documentary films exploring the lives of young undocumented people across the U.S. who have DACA permits.  After receiving a DACA permit, more than 740,000 young people have finally been able to have protection against deportation, work legally, go to school, start businesses, and obtain higher paying jobs, but this reality could all change. Trump has threatened to repeal DACA on day one of the new administration, and the Waking Dream video series will follow the incredible tenacity of undocumented young people as they charge forward in an uncertain future.
